Grounding Meditation

DATE: June 13 - 8:00 AM / MNL Time | via ZOOM

We are all in need of some "grounding" in our lives. We all desire to be more stable, to make decisions wisely, and to be present in each moment. When we find ourselves disconnected to the Earth from which we came and our Root Chakra can't find the Earth beneath us to ground into, it can lead us to having stressed, anxious, and depressed feelings, which can be harmful to our overall well-being.

The goal of meditation isn't to stop the thoughts, get rid of emotions or control the mind. Meditation is about stepping back and seeing the thoughts clearly. Witnessing it coming and going. Seeing emotions coming and going without judgement but with a relaxed and focused mind.

To commit to a meditation practice in these times of uncertainty and overwhelming stream of information is a gift we can give ourselves so that we can be fully present in our lives.

The purpose of grounding is to allow ourselves to connect with that felt sense of stability that resides in each of us. When we feel that we're not being pulled to and fro by the circumstances of our life, either good or bad, and we can act with greater clarity and wisdom.

Explore and discover how to acknowledge your emotions and thoughts and separate them from who you are.
Join us for a GROUP MEDITATION on ZOOM on June 13 (8:00 AM Saturday) with Teacher Shiela as she guides us through a GROUNDING MEDITATION practice that will help us reconnect with ourselves, focus better, and get more perspective about life in general.

The workshop consists of 15-20 minutes of guided meditation to be followed by a question and answer portion to be facilitated by Teacher Shiela for another 15 minutes.

This workshop will be donation based (any amount is welcome). Please send us an email at buhayretreats@gmail.com if you are interested in joining! EVERYONE - AROUND THE WORLD - is welcome to join, even if you have never tried meditating before.
